Summer House aired its extra post-reunion episode, “The Aftermath”, last night, which featured a sit-down between Amanda Batula and Lindsay Hubbard. And while Lindsay didn’t hold back on grilling Amanda over her relationship with West Wilson, betrayal of Ciara Miller, and decision to blow up an entire friend group, one major moment was cut. Apparently, Lindsay told Amanda that she couldn’t be friends with her until she made some changes.
She clarified things on Threads, writing “Not seen/didnt make the edit: I told Amanda at the end of that convo, in order to be friends with me, I need my friends to show ‘integrity, character, and better decision making skills. And until that happens… unfortunately, there’s no place for people like that in my life.’”
Lindsay also responded to some concern among fans that she was perpetuating a burgeoning victim narrative around Amanda by saying she was being “manipulated” by West when Amanda clearly made the decision to start dating him herself.
Lindsay clarified this, explaining “I say West ‘manipulated’ Amanda because HE is the one who initiated this fuckery. HE is the one who said ‘hey uhhh is it me or like do we like each other?’ Or whatever tf his hot dog smelling ass said. Yes, Amanda is a grown ass woman and makes her own big girl decisions. And yes, she needs to deal with those big girl consequences.”
So, sounds like Lindsay and Amanda aren’t on the best of terms?
